SzkoUA is a safe, bilingual community that innovatively combines the Ukrainian and Polish education systems.

We teach differently because we believe that bicultural children create a stronger world built on better understanding.

In 2024, SzkoUA received the prestigious Council of Europe Development Bank Award for Social Cohesion (CEB Award for Social Cohesion) for its innovative approach to the education of refugee children. Our original solution – the dual education model, which combines the curricula of the country of origin and the host country – was recognized as an innovation that can be implemented not only in Poland.

In the 2024/2025 school year, funding for projects supporting Ukrainian students in Poland has been significantly reduced.

Therefore, we are seeking new partners and sources of financing to continue activities that genuinely improve the quality of education for refugee children while also developing our institution.
